Think about what you would do if all of the sudden you had an additional $500,000 in your bank account.
Why $500,000? Because for most people this amount can make a significant change in their lives. They can go back to school, become debt-free or buy a new home.
The answer to this question can be revealing and may give you insight as to where you are in your prosperity consciousness.
First, what sort of feelings does it trigger? Fear, guilt, elation?
Are you scared of spending it or wasting it? You may have deep-down beliefs that you will never have enough, that you don’t deserve it, or that you will never get a large amount of money in your life again.
Do you just want to pay off your debts and then save the rest? You probably have a belief that money is scarce and hard to come by. Paying off debt is a good thing but you may be limiting yourself by making it your ultimate goal.
I used to have a belief that “buying things” was considered materialistic. I would spend money on “experiences” like vacations and seminars but my home would be filled with old, used furniture. Perhaps I just didn’t believe I deserved nice things in my life.
You can see how the thoughts you are thinking, whether they are subconscious or conscious, make a big difference on how you live your life.
Become aware of what you are thinking now. Then see if you can stretch it.
Money is infinite. There is more than enough. You deserve to use it to make your life more efficient, harmonious and peaceful.
Money is energy. It is meant to be circulated and to change lives.
Yes, save your money. But don’t fall into the lack mentality that there is not enough.
