Years ago when I had a regular 9 to 5 job I used to take advantage of my paid time off for a nice getaway. Of course, I would have to wait until I had accumulated my 2 weeks at the end of the year.
One day my dad asked me when I was going to take my next vacation. “VACATION?” I blurted out, “my LIFE is a vacation!”. He got a kick out of that.
It was then I realized what was most important to me in life. To have the freedom and time to do the things I love to do. Waking up every day with the feeling that I am in control of my life. Living life with a sense of peace in my heart and excitement for what lies ahead.

I am 70 years young and learning new things every day. My wife and I love vacationing using our timeshare vacation properties. We also ride Suzuki Maxi-Motor Scooters during the summer. We have a group of motor scooter riders from all over the United States, all in our age bracket that get together every year and spend time riding our motor scooters, socializing and dining for 3-4 days and loving life also. We also have a 26 ft sailboat that we use as ofter as we can on a lake not to far from our home. Totally different friends from our scooter friends. I see also you have the Socrates Theme web site.
