With the way the economy is these days, with people losing their jobs and the scarcity of jobs as a whole, it makes me believe that the Universe is prodding us to look in other directions, to follow our bliss, to leave situations that don’t use our gifts to its fullest potential.
You see more people becoming entrepreneurs, leaving behind the office politics and turning their backs on being chained to a desk.
The truth is that you don’t need a resume or an interview to get a job.

What can you offer in your community or on the internet? Look at things that sound fun to do.
Let go of the belief that work has to be hard and replace it with the thought that you can make money while having fun. I don’t like the word “work” anyways. It has the connotation that when you do something in exchange for money it has to be uncomfortable.
Let’s brainstorm some ways you can make money: petsitting, painting shirts and selling them, doing errands for the elderly, cleaning service, teaching (fill in the blank), tutoring, consulting, bookkeeping and wedding photography to name a few.
Look at things you can do for money on the internet such as eBay, affiliate marketing, virtual assistant, writing and selling ebooks or courses online, freelance artist or selling products on a website to a particular market.
Let go of the idea that you won’t make enough money doing these things. If you offer a quality service and if you are passionate about it you will be successful.
Stick with it and see where it goes. Start somewhere and it may branch off into places you never dreamed of. If it doesn’t work try something else. Perserverance pays off.
“I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can’t make it through one door, I’ll go through another door – or I’ll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.” - Joan Rivers
